My backyard serves as a great place to make flashlight videos in a constant, reliable environment. Well, reliable other than my dog. He likes to wander around and ruin half my shots.
The big problem with my yard is that, at most, I have 100 yards to work with. Last fall, we took our biggest, brightest, and most popular lights out into the boonies of Georgia to see how they compared against each other when they had more space to shine. There were a few nice built in distance measurements, two lines of vegetation and a line of trees out at 300 yards.
There are a lot of videos in the series, so I made a playlist with all of the videos to help keep them separate from the hundreds of other videos we have on youtube. The first video that explains what we were doing is below.
