The Weltool M2-BF Ultraviolet Flashlight — nicknamed the “Purple Beard” — is a compact, professional-grade 365nm UV black light designed for specialists, technicians, and enthusiasts who demand precision. Unlike standard 380–400nm UV flashlights, the M2-BF emits a pure 365nm wavelength with minimal visible light, ensuring more accurate detection and stronger fluorescence response.

With an output of 2060mW radiation flux, this flashlight excels across a wide range of fields. For forensic investigations, it reveals body fluids, fingerprints, fibers, and document forgeries. In NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), it provides reliable fluorescence inspection of ship components, pressure vessels, and aircraft parts. Operation instruction(M2-BF):

• Turn counterclockwise to open the back cover, put the positive terminal of the charged 18650 high-quality lithium-ion battery into the flashlight toward the light head, and then turn clockwise to tighten the tail cover.

• The flashlight has reverse polarity protection. If the battery is inserted in the wrong direction, the flashlight will not be damaged, but it will not work. If this happens, check the battery.

• After installing the battery, lightly press (half-press) the tail switch button once to turn on the flashlight and release the switch to turn off. After the flashlight is turned off for more than 10 seconds, the default is low output mode every time it is turned on.

• In the non-open state, continuously press the flashlight tail switch, the mode is switched from low to high cycle.

• When any mode is turned on, press the switch hard (full press), there will be a "click" sound, lock the current brightness is always bright; press again hard, the switch has a "click" sound, the flashlight is turned off.

• When the battery voltage is too low, the flashlight will flash a warning, please replace with a new battery. After flashing the prompt, the flashlight will automatically turn off at any time to protect the lithium ion battery from excessive discharge.

Caution:

• Unauthorized disassembly may damage the flashlight and void the warranty.
• Weltool "Total Heat Dissipation" technology will dissipate the internal heat of the light during operation, it is normal to feel the flashlight body temperature rise.
• Please check and replace the O-ring regularly to maintain the waterproof rating.
• Please check and lubricate the threads regularly with professional lubricant.
• Clean the contact surfaces regularly to keep the flashlight normal operation. If irregular strobe or failure to turn-on occurs, the contact surfaces may be dirty and requires cleaning by using alcohol cotton swabs.
• Remove the battery from the flashlight during long term storage.
• This flashlight is not intended to be used as a diving light.
• Do not aim the flashlight directly at eyes. Keep out of the reach of children.
