Rules, rules, rules: sometimes you gotta use a leash. But who hasn't been caught without one? In a pinch, you improvise. We did, with a hank of old climbing rope and a retired carabiner. This morphed into the first leash we ever offered. This current iteration is made of strong, supple, reflective climbing rope. The rope loops through a tubular webbing handle for comfort, and a silicone casing at the rope/biner connection keeps the locking carabiner oriented correctly.
