The CHOP2 has been one of North Mountain Blade’s best-selling designs — and the new 2406 Series evolves it even further. This upgraded version keeps the aggressive lines and fidget-friendly mechanics of the original, while adding premium materials and refined functionality.
At the heart of the knife is a 3.5-inch SLD-Magic blade — an in-house surface-treated tool steel, engineered for increased toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating provides even greater wear protection and a stealth, non-reflective finish.
Deployment is smooth and controlled thanks to a combination of ceramic bearings, a flipper tab, and the new .45 ACP–inspired thumb disc. Machined slightly smaller than a real .45 casing, it allows for fast, controlled, and fully ambidextrous opening.
The handle features Red Ceramic Carbon Fiber — lightweight, rigid, and visually bold. Inside, a reinforced button lock frame includes a brass inlay around the button to increase structural durability over long-term use. No blade play, crisp lock engagement, and snappy deployment make this a standout everyday carry.
