Our Medium Fatwood is the a great size for car camping, home use, or any other time when a tiny size is not needed. Each bag contains approximately 1/2 lb (6 pieces) of 8" fatwood sticks.
Fatwood is wood from a pine tree that is saturated with resin. Thanks to the resin, fatwood will still light when wet, will burn much longer and hotter than regular pine, and lights easily with a flame or firesteel (if prepared properly).
