The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD renders the classic NASA "worm" logotype in raised white lettering on a red moulded PVC background. At 2.95" x 1.18" the NASA-RD is a compact rectangle that fits neatly on a cap panel, sleeve, backpack strap or flight bag.
The worm — the flowing all-caps wordmark with the crossbars dropped from the A's — was NASA's official insignia from 1975 to 1992 and returned to use on launch vehicles in 2020. This red colourway is the reverse of the white NASA-WH patch, also stocked at Going Gear.
