I fired up the Tivo earlier and watched the Labrador episode. I thought it was one of the better ones. It was nice to see that he took a survival kit with him to show how helpful they can be, but that it can still suck big time even if you are prepared. I think I would have tried to find a bug to use as fishing bait instead of decaying dog food, but he is the Canadian, not me.
My girl lost interest after he got rid of the dogs. I liked the dogs too, but it was nice to see him demonstrate what to do in that situation. I found it interesting that he and his crew were trapped by the slush, but they said the dogs would make it home safely. I demand video evidence of the dogs in the safety of a town!
