Well known for their magnetic ramping-controlled flashlights, Sunwayman has decided to take a different route with their new side switch light: the Sunwayman T40CS. This light is a bit different from most of their other lights, as the T40CS has a deep, smooth reflector that is combined with an XM-L LED that can now produce up to 844 lumens, and throw for 500+ meters (that’s over 1640 feet. Now that’s very impressive). Unlike its predecessors, the T40CS is not controlled by a ramping ring, but uses a side switch located towards the head of the light that allows the user to cycle through three modes, and can be tapped twice to access strobe and SOS. The light can be powered by two 18650 batteries, or four CR123 batteries and can run up to two hours on constant turbo.
