Zero Tolerance provides a dark, refined alternative to the original 0450 with the 0450CF.
This sophisticated ZT is a smaller option in the ZT family, yet offers a robust combination of durable, premium-quality materials. The blade steel is S35VN for exceptional toughness, wear resistance, and edge retention. The S35VN blade is DLC coated for matte-black good looks and enhanced performance. The front handle scale is carbon fiber, balancing the knife’s solid construction with lightweight convenience. The DLC-coated titanium back handle offers a secure frame lock—so you can always cut with confidence.
As an extra visual touch, ZT has added two emerald-green anodized-aluminum tube spacers that are especially eye-catching, standing out against the black handle. The 0450CF takes advantage of ZT’s KVT ball-bearing system to enable smooth, easy opening for either left- or right-handed users. A left/right reversible pocketclip rounds out the 0452CF’s basic feature set.
While it’s a smaller, more gentlemanly knife, the 0450CF proudly lives up to the overbuilt standards for which ZT is well known.

- ZT0450cf quick overview
Bought my first ZT 4 years ago and cannot get enough of their products. I own Benchmade, Spyderco, C. Reeves, Boker, and several customs, but there is something special that always brings me back to the zero tolerance knives.
I have smaller hands, so naturally I wanted to check out some of the smaller zt's after I bought a few of the hinderer models. The 0450 fit wonderfully in my hand (relatively close to the reeves small sebenza) and felt great in the pocket. I wear suits/tux a lot (musician), so the slim profile was great for slacks.
The 0450CF, around 2.45 oz. (0450 coming in around 2.9) is incredibly light weight, yet still has the build and strong feel that ZT is known for.
Smooth and incredibly snappy flipper. It's hard to resist flipping the zt's all day long. Of course it was sharp out of the box. All 6 zt's I own were fantastically sharp and felt great right out of the box.
Titanium handle with a very sturdy framelock. Doesn't lock up as solid as a reeves lockup, but pretty dang close! Very little movement.
The 0450cf not only feels great, but looks fantastic. The emerald-green anodized-aluminum tube spacers really pop against the black handle and carbon fiber. Didn't think I would dig the green, but it has really grown on me.
The ZT's aren't the cheapest, but sure are worth the $$ that you shell out. Haven't had a problem with any of mine and ZT does a nice job servicing their blades. Great line of knives that everyone should check out! The Sinkevich 0450 and 0450cf are two great unobtrusive blades that are great for edc or users with smaller hands. Thanks ZT and Going Gear for carrying!
