The storm matches I wish I had when I was a Boy Scout
These matches are great! They burn plenty long enough to get prepared tinder started, will burn when wet, and will even relight themselves once lit. Get one going, dunk it in water, pull it out, and it'll relight in a couple seconds. Only downside is that they smell like burning plastic when lit. The carrier is nice and tough, I'm not worried at all about breaking it, and mine came with a total of three scratch pads. I turned the one on the outside of the carrier around, so that the cardboard backing is facing out, to protect the striking surface. The other two are inside a thick plastic bag, inside the carrier with the matches.
