NiteCore Intellicharge i4
It's a battery charger. It charges batteries. I've used it to charge 4 Olight 3400 mAh 18650 and Olight 650 mAh RCR123A batteries. The 18650's were almost completely drained when I put them in the charger. It took about 8 hours to fully charge them. During that time the top of he charger got really hot. I think I remember reading about some older ones that had problems overheating. What I ended up doing was placing a pencil under the charger where the indicator lights are. This kept the top of the charger up off the table and subsequently ran much cooler. I think my next charger will probably an upgrade to the Nitecore Digicharger D4.

Good product and awesome features
The features are great and work as described. Just make sure you read the manual first about which batteries can or cannot be charged alone. Other than that brilliant product!

Great charger but rails are a bit rough...
I've had this charger for a few months now, I only use it to charge my Eagletac 3100mAh 18650 and RCR123A 16340 750mah Li-Ion batteries exclusively. Amazing charger, I really like how everything is built into the charger itself and no annoying power brick. Haven't really tried charging any of my eneloops in this charger, but I like using my La Crosse Technology BC-9009 charger for normal batteries.

Also a big plus is that the power cable is the same as the PSVita and PS3 Slim, so less charging cables to worry about when on the road.

After a while, the spring loading mechanism got a bit rougher, so I used some DeoxIT to lubricate it. I guess I might have used too much, since I encountered a problem with one of the ports not charging, or detecting the battery charge and ends up showing that it's full. It's nothing major, all I have to do is re-seat the battery a few times before it finally recognizes that it needs to be charged, after that it's smooth sailing.

Planning to buy another one, so that I can take the first one apart and do a thorough cleaning and lubricating the rails.

Great for several different batteries
Bought my first one from Going Gear and one slot didn't work. Took back to the store. They exchanged it immediately and apologized for my inconvenience. Does a great job on 4 batteries, but it will charge less batteries faster.
Great price for charger. Adjustable for different size batteries that makes it even more useful.

Finally! An Affordable High Quality All-IN-One Charger
This charger does a nice job on all the batteries I've tested it with. Handles my Ni-Mh Eneloops just as easily as my Li-ion18650's. Overall quality is very good. Just wish the DC cord was included.

Reliable!
This is the only charger that I have that I trust without checking on it at watching over it while charging. Solid, consistent cut-off at 4.2v every time! This charger has brought new life to Li-Ion cells that were deemed in the "no man's land" of less than 2.4v.

You can find it cheaper elsewhere (by a whopping $0.05!!) but don't be that guy... buy from a respected, reliable, quick shipping, and rock solid company. Get it from Goinggear!

My only complaint is that after many uses it appears that something has either worked its way into the housing or a piece of plastic on the inside has broken, creating an annoying rattle.... no biggie tho!

better than expected
The Nitecore i4 really lives up to it's advertisements. It is as simple as drop some batteries in, and it will do the rest.
As others have noted, the loading slots don't particularly like the 18650 size, it really maxes them out, but the batteries do fit and will charge so.. only a slight hassle loading the largest cells.

AND THEN, we have a pro tip: Turns out Oliver the cat flipped 23 OUNCES of water directly onto the Nitecore i4 charger, while it was plugged in. It was stored underneath the nightstand when this occurred, so it's hard to say how long it had been in this situation. When I found it, the charger thought it had 2 batteries charged, and was loading an unloading a third one (keep in mind it was empty.) Turned it upside down, and it looked like it was holding the majority of the 23 ounces! It even has an auto-off feature I noticed, as it would simply power down when it realized something wasn't right. So no fire hazard here, even given the conditions.

Within 12 hours (after sitting like that for probably days,) I was back up and charging as if it never happened! Not one problem!

very UNIVERSAL charger.
Bought this charger about a year ago because I have a lot of lights that take a lot of different batteries. I was tired of having to use a different charger for every battery. I have Sanyo AA's, Tenergy 18650's, 16340's and a few energizer AA, AAA. I also knew that in the future I would probably buy different kinds of 18650 and couldn't use the Tenergy charger.
This charger works great. The springs are a bit strong and stiff, but that's better than being weak and soft. Stays cool even when charging 4 18650 or AAA. No complaints. A must buy if you are a flashlight nerd with multiple lights and batteries.

Quality charger but has one problem
Generally, a very relaible charger. Fully charges 18650 batteries that I use. LED indicator lights monitor state of charge. Can charge up to 4 batteries. Does not make batteries hot. Charger does not get hot. I have had a number of the cheap $5-$10 chargers and they are junk and heat up. . At least this NIteCore is well made with stout build quality and reliably charges your batteries.

Only complaint is that the spring loaded slides becomes ornery and refuse to slide open when you attempt to insert a battery. You must first grasp the tab by hand and pull it to the widest position, hold it and carefully insert battery with other hand. Kind of a nuisance.

good charger for a reasonable price
This charger works well and is a great charger for somebody just getting into lithium ion batteries as it takes out a lot of the guess work. It feels a little cheap in hand but works well and does its job.

The new version actually works
Ordered on Thursday, received Saturday....excellent.
The "NEW" Intellicharge i4 works the way it should....I charged every Li-on rechargeable I had. (RCR123's and 18650's) No issues whatsoever. Highly recommended.
