Absolutely Amazing in Every Way!
This review comes from one who has been able to use this flashlight to the fullest. To begin, the Nightcore TM26 is a beast of a flashlight in more than one way. However, for me, these points boil down to three key items.

1. Overall lumens and pure throw.

One must understand that this flashlight has the capability of going from a mere reading brightness all the way up to igniting the African Savanna in less than a second. I took it on an expedition last year to Africa and found that each of it's settings had their ideal moments. From checking the map to camp chores to scanning the plain over 1000' ahead of us. This in itself was worth the cost of the flashlight.

2. Battery Life.

When you are pushing out 4500 lumens, one would expect the battery life to be poor. However, when fully charged I have gotten well over an hour of use on full power. When you compare this flashlight and it's size to others, you will realize how impressive this statistic really is. Also, as one would expect, when you begin to notch down the brightness a tad the hours start piling up as the onboard screen will show you. On the slowest setting you will get over 1000 hours of use. Even on the second highest setting, which I used for camp tasks, got me several hundred hours.

3. Durability.

The construction of this device is, by far, second to none. When you pick it up, it has a nice heft to it that makes you feel secure in a way. Not only does it feel good in the hand, but also lives up to the image. I have personally dropped my while climbing rock from about 10'. Despite bouncing the whole way down, it was absolutely fine, with the exception of a single hairline scratch. finally, I have use this flashlight in what I would call a torrential downpour, and have even dropped it to the bottom of a stream nearly 6 feet deep. While the website says water resistant 1 m I have exceeded this without problems. However, I would not frequently test this ability just to be safe.

All in all, I have no complaints and I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Great emergency light and other uses.
When I got this light I was just getting it for a "gottahaveit" light as flashlights are some of the things I collect. Well as it turned out we had a storm roll through Kalamazoo July 19, 2013 at about 11:30 pm and our power went out. The first thing I grabbed was my TM26 and put it on the dining room table and pointing at the ceiling, turned it on to the next to turbo setting and it worked better than I expected. Made the house look like the lights were on. Moved it from room to room and it worked great. I've "played" with the TM26 outside too and the neighborhood looked like the lights came back on. Also the interface is easy to use and the directions are written very well. No complicated items to read. The charger works great too. Just plug in and charge with no worries. The turbo setting does make the light get very warm but it cools off very well. I recommend this light for all around use and also as a work light. The low setting is good for reading or looking close at things. I'm totally glad I bought this.
