The Nitecore SRT3 Defender is the little brother of the popular Nitecore SRT7 Revenger, which is a fantastic light, but not the most pocket-friendly. The SRT3 uses a CR123/16340 or AA/14500 battery with the included extender to put out an amazing 550 lumens on max output (using a 16340/14500). If you are in an area where lithium or lithium ion batteries are hard to find or charge, regular AA alkaline batteries work just fine, albeit at a lower output.
The 550 lumens of white light is not all you get with the Nitecore SRT3 Defender. You have a rotary ring that will let you adjust the output from 0-550 lumens as well as a red/blue LED for times when white light is not what you want. Some flashing modes are in there as well to round out the interface.
The Nitecore SRT3 Defender bundle includes either 2 x 16340 or 2 x 14500 Eagletac lithium ion batteries to keep your light going and give you a spare. A Nitecore i2 or i4 Intellicharge battery charger is also in there to keep the batteries topped up at all times.
This bundle includes:
|Compatible Batteries||1 x AA/14500, 1 x CR123/16340|
|Infinite Ouput Adjustment||Yes|
