A colorful outdoor knife with Swedish FireSteel® fire starter. The Swedish FireKnife™ is a collaboration between Light My Fire and Mora of Sweden, and we could hardly have picked a better partner. Mora has made top-notch knives for 120 years.

But this is more than just an extremely sharp, flexible, and sturdy all-around knife: the handle contains a fire starter. In other words, you can gut and clean a fish, split kindling and light a campfire with one single handy tool.

Features:

  • Mora of Sweden makes this flexible and sturdy blade of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel.
  • Scandinavian grind.
  • Polypropylene sheath with clip.
  • High-friction, TPE rubber handle.
  • An original Swedish FireSteel® Scout, with approximately 3,000 strikes, twist locks into the handle for lighting campfires, gas stoves, and barbecues.
  • Swedish FireSteel firestarter works equally well when wet, performs at all altitudes, and produces a 3,000°C (5,400°F) spark.
  • Dimensions (in sheath): 8.7" x 1.8" x 1.2" (22 cm x 4.5 cm x 3 cm)
  • Knife Length: 8.5" (21.5 cm)

I may buy this knife again......
This is just great all around value. The ability to keep this Knife in a kit and not worry about maintenance while having dual redundancy as far as edge and fire lighting capabilities in one tool makes it a budget friendly wise choice for anyone. Very happy with both the product as well as the service.

Awesome Value Knife!
I am not by any means a knife expert but I do own some pretty decent knives. I thought I would give this Mora Light My Fire knife a shot since I saw a lot of Youtube reviews on it and it seems Mora’s are very well respected as is Swedish steel. I got this knife for only $22 and I couldn't be happier. Here are my reasons for giving it high remarks.....

- The price, you are getting great value at this price point
- The blade is stainless steel and it has a little flex to it so I can see this being a good knife for your fishing tackle box
- You get a fire steel in the handle and it fits very securely. Easy to use with the back of the blade to throw sparks
- It is really lightweight, excellent for ultralight backpackers or people looking to cut weight from their emergency bags
- Very sharp out of the box
- Put this together with a hatchet and I can see all your blade needs covered as far as camping goes. You can use this as a kitchen knife as well as a knife to carve wood

Great all around knife
This is a great all around knife and fro the price it is a must have. I purchased several. One for a Go bag in the Jeep and another for my pack. Love the fact that you can get different colors.

No one thinks a baby blue knife
Is scary. When out of the sheath, it looks like a kitchen knife.
Very clever they made some different colors, everything else has to be black, Camo and very tactical.
Whatever color you choose, what you get is a very capable tool. This is a Mora knife with a built in fire starter, and it works well as a knife and a fire starter. I've cut thru clothes, para cord, branches, plastic with no problems. I also tested the fire starter with some cotton tinder, it really makes some sparks.

mora firesteel
Recently purchased this product, this is my 1st,ever review, hope I get it right. My MoraSwedish FireKnife, arrived
about 1 week ago.I've put it through It's paces.Nothing short of awsome, can compare it to the other Knives.I have the best of both worlds.I cut some old bark up-&small wood tinder it had been raining 5 straight days, then I saw my chance to try out my new Knife & Firesheet all in one,The amount of SPARKS generated from this striker is amazing.
This Is Hands-Down The Knike That Will Always Be With Me Any Trip We Take. The Staff @ Going Gear are100%
@First We Had A Few Hicups,be we got beyond them quickly.I wouldn't hesitate to get one for my wife even.she was also shocked @the amount of sparks. It Was Made For My Hand.would greatly recommend this product.Tks SKILLET210

Great knife
This is a knife I think most everyone should own for $40. It would be a great truck knife, pack knife, tackle box knife, whatever. The price is great first off. The sheath, while still plastic, is better than what you get with some of the more traditional Mora knives. The knife snaps securely into the sheath and does not shake loose. The blade, as with all Mora knifes I have seen, was razor sharp out of the box. The handle is comfortable and large enough for my hand (even with the fire steel remove) and I am 6'5". The fire steel twist locks into the back on the handle and there is no way it would just fall out while walking.
