Super Fatwood Block

If fatwood sticks are not enough for you, the Super Fatwood Block is the way to go. The SFB is a chunk of solid fatwood, weighing about 4 lbs and able to light many, many fires if broken up, or one really impressive fire if used all at once. Because the pieces are hand cut and not all fatwood weighs the same, the weight is approximate.

Fatwood is wood from a pine tree that is saturated with resin. Thanks to the resin, fatwood will still light when wet, will burn much longer and hotter than regular pine, and lights easily with a flame or firesteel (if prepared properly).
