The Benchmade 300 AXIS Flipper combines the attributes of a wonderful work knife with the convenience of an everyday carry, due to the flipper mechanism, AXIS lock and G10 handle. The 300 Axis Flipper was designed by Butch Ball, and as the name indicates, the knife has the advantage of using Benchmades proprietary ambidextrous Axis blade-locking system. The drop point blade with the axis flipper is perfect for ambidextrous hands and has a dual thumb stud opener. The blade is made of a 154 cm stainless steel that wont break and doesn't need sharpening very often. The drop point blade is 3.18 inches long, which is the perfect size for gutting deer, elk and as an all-around carry knife.The G10 handle provides excellent grip, comfort, strength and durability. The most impressive feature is how smooth the 300 AXIS flipper opens, with a touch of the flipper and a gentle flick of the wrist, the silky smooth opening releases the blade into marvelous position.
